After a successful run of events in the UK, we knew it was time to bring TilloConnect across the pond.
Designed to spark honest conversations and fresh thinking, TilloConnect has always been about more than just networking; it’s an event series about collaboration, progress, and challenging the status quo in an industry that’s evolving fast.
So when the IMA Summit announced Austin, our US HQ, as the host city for 2025, the timing couldn’t have been better for TilloConnect to make its way to the US!
We started the week with our TilloConnect BBQ at Lamberts, a laid-back evening filled with live music, good food, and even better conversations.
Over signature cocktails and shared plates, industry leaders, buyers, and brand partners gathered to connect in a more informal setting. No panels or presentations this time, just space to catch up, meet new people, and enjoy some of the best BBQ that Texas has to offer before the IMA Summit begins.
On Tuesday, we took to the main stage as sponsors of the IMA Summit's second day.
Bill Warshauer, Tillo’s Chief Revenue Officer, opened the keynote with a focus on authentic leadership, followed by a Tillo-hosted panel on the growth of B2B gift cards. Katie Cannon, Tillo’s Chief Brand Partnerships Officer, led a sharp discussion that pulled in lessons from the UK and explored how US brands can unlock similar value. Later that day, David Wall, Tillo’s Chief Commercial Officer, joined a cross-chapter panel sharing global research findings - turning insights into action and adding a broader perspective to the conversation.
We wrapped the week with something new: the first-ever TilloConnect Advisory Board session.
Held at Soho House Austin, the meeting brought together a diverse group of senior voices from across the industry, from brands and buyers to payment processors and platforms - all leaders with the experience and ambition to help shape what comes next.
The discussion covered key pressure points: self-use, brand commissions, disbursement innovation, and how to unlock value across the ecosystem. It was a chance to think big, speak openly, and start building solutions with the long term in mind.
Bringing TilloConnect to the US was a first step, but it won’t be the last.
We’re already planning future sessions, new formats, and more ways to keep these conversations going. Whether it’s in person or online, our goal stays the same: to bring people together, share what’s working, and move the industry forward.
Watch this space. TilloConnect is only getting started!
